Post-Apocalyptic KansasĀ is a series of photographs that explore society's obsession with doomsday scenarios and what the world may be like after an apocalypse.

My interest in horror films is what inspired this series. As I photographed the abandoned buildings and gritty landscape, I began to envision my own version of what a post-apocalyptic world could look like. By creating these cinematic compositions, I have shaped a narrative that evokes the feeling of isolation I felt growing up in a small town and my fascination with mystery and the macabre.

Images of desolation are ever present in a world where the future seems unknown and fear is prevalent. Although these photographs are taken of everyday places and objects, they become haunting in their context.
